If you are experiencing playback interruptions while using Lark Player, such as songs or files stopping unexpectedly during playback, or the app pausing by itself when running in the background—for example, if you're listening to music with Lark Player and open a game or a news app, only to find that the playback suddenly stops while you're gaming or reading the news—don’t worry! The following methods might help resolve or minimize the issue. Please review the guidance provided in this FAQ and follow the steps one by one as instructed.
Method 1: Add the Memory Exception
To help prevent playback interruptions, you can add Lark Player to the memory exception list by following these steps:
1. Open the Phone Master app.
2. Tap on Memory Usage.
3. Tap the More button in the upper-right corner. From the menu, select Ignore List.
4. Find and check Lark Player to add it to the list.
After completing these steps, please reopen Lark Player and try playing your media again. You should notice improved playback stability and performance.
Method 2: Ignore battery optimization
To help Lark Player run smoothly in the background, you can disable battery optimization by following these steps:
1. Long press the Lark Player icon on your home screen. Tap on App Info.
2. Go to Battery settings.
3. Select Unrestricted.
After completing these steps, please reopen Lark Player and check if the playback or performance has improved. Now, Lark Player will continue playing music without being affected by battery saver.
If none of the above methods resolve the issue, or if the issue is fixed using these steps, please leave a comment on this article or let us know through the feedback option in the app. We’d love to hear if the problem was solved!
