If you are experiencing playback interruptions while using Lark Player, such as songs or files stopping unexpectedly during playback, or the app pausing by itself when running in the background—for example, if you're listening to music with Lark Player and open a game or a news app, only to find that the playback suddenly stops while you're gaming or reading the news—don’t worry! The following methods might help resolve or minimize the issue. Please review the guidance provided in this FAQ and follow the steps one by one as instructed.
Method 1: Battery Saver Doesn’t Restrict Lark Player
To ensure Lark Player runs without interruptions due to battery saver mode, set it to "No restrictions." This prevents the system from limiting the app’s background activity, allowing continuous music playback.
Steps:
1. Long press the Lark Player icon and tap the ℹ️ icon to open App Info
Please note that certain models may behave as shown in the image below
2. Then Select Battery at App info

This setting allows Lark Player to keep playing music without being affected by battery-saving features.
Method 2: Lock Lark Player App
To ensure smooth background music playback, please lock the Lark Player app. This prevents the system from automatically closing it to save battery or memory.
Steps:
1. Open the Security app on your device
2. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner
3. Select Boost speed feature
4. Then Tap Lock apps
5. Find Lark Player and turn the switch on
This setting keeps Lark Player running without interruption.
Method 3: Add Memory Exception for Lark Player in Game Turbo
To ensure Lark Player can continue playing music while you're gaming, you need to add it to the memory exception allowlist in Game Turbo. This prevents the system from restricting the app's background activity, allowing both the game and music to run smoothly at the same time.
Steps:
1. Open the Security app on your device
2. Then Go to Game Turbo
3. Once in Game Turbo, Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner
4. Then Select Performance Mode, and Tap Memory exceptions
5. Find Lark Player in the list and toggle the switch on
By enabling this, Lark Player will be allowed to run uninterrupted while you enjoy your games.
